Prerequisites
Before connecting your Shopify store to DropNext, make sure you have:
- An active Shopify store
- Admin access to your Shopify account
- A DropNext account (if you don't have one, see our guide on setting up your DropNext account)
Installing the DropNext app
To connect your Shopify store to DropNext, you'll need to install our Shopify app:
- Log in to your Shopify admin panel
- Go to the Shopify App Store
- Search for "DropNext Fulfillment"
- Click "Add app"
- Review the permissions and click "Install app"
Configuring the connection
After installing the app, you'll need to configure the connection:
- When prompted, log in to your DropNext account
- Select which products you want to fulfill through DropNext
- Configure your shipping settings
- Set up order sync preferences
Testing the connection
To ensure everything is working correctly:
- Create a test order in your Shopify store
- Check that the order appears in your DropNext dashboard
- Process the test order through DropNext
- Verify that the order status updates correctly in Shopify
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with the connection, try these steps:
- Ensure your Shopify store is on a supported plan (Basic Shopify or higher)
- Check that you have the latest version of the DropNext app installed
- Verify that your API credentials are correct
- Try disconnecting and reconnecting the app
